We often have people walk into our gym unsure of themselves, scared and comparing themselves to others around them. What I have to say to that is, your biggest obstacle is YOU! If you believe in yourself, then anything is certainly possible!
Not many people know that there was a time in my life when I was overweight, pre-diabetic, and in an overall extremely negative state of mind. I don't share this information often because quite frankly, it's not something I am proud of. The bottom pictures show a time when I felt hopeless and was just unhealthy both on the inside and outside. I was always tired, I ate like crap, I did zero exercise and I didn't have the energy to be the best mom to my 3 incredible boys. It took being diagnosed with cancer to open up my eyes and to make me realize I needed to make some changes, both for myself and for my children. Fast forward to present and at in my 40s, I am in the best shape of my life. Most days, I have MORE energy than my kids and feel better than I ever have! I had to change my mindset. I had to change my perception of myself and I had to start believing that I could actually be a better me.
